My name is Raphael Gentry and I'm a proud native from Saginaw, Michigan. I have 10 years of teaching experience as a college professor at Spelman College and on campus, I’m known as Professor G.

Currently, I'm excited about working on my dissertation! I have completed my coursework and will be receiving a Ph.D. in International Education in 2021. For me, traveling and education go hand in hand. As The Motivational Traveler, I will uniquely turn the world around us into a global classroom.

 

My interest in exploring our planet stems from the belief that traveling can immensely enhance your brain's chemistry and alter your DNA through epigenetics. I believe that we are all creators. Therefore, one of the most powerful and lasting things a person can create are exceptional memories. My philosophy is beauty fades, money comes and goes, but memories are forever!

 

Over the past 10 years I have motivated and shaped the minds of thousands of students. Now, it’s time to teach in a global classroom where I can inspire the world.
